TODD & STEPHANIE STILL left a message on June 10, 2025:
We are just learning of his passing! Thankful for the many memories at Forsan Baptist Church and his devotion (and also his wife) to the church. Very very fortunate to have been attending the church and meeting the Cregar's there. Covid-19 changed the world and how we interacted with others- this terrible outbreak also pushed out so many of our precious folks away from church attendance all together! We know Mr Cregar is with our LORD JESUS CHRIST. He was also a gifted singer and We loved listening to the QUARTET as well! Love and prayers to any family we may not have met. The Stills, Stephanie, Todd, Taylyn, Luke

For the past few days my family and I have been sharing memories of Mr. and Mrs. Cregar. Some highlights were getting to make announcements, Black Beauty, and “the window, the window, she threw it out the window”! We feel lucky to have had the Cregars in our lives. Much love to the family and friends of Mr. Cregar. He was a good man, I know you are proud of the life he lived. Love, The Lepards

Mr. Cregar was always happy to see you, such a kind and genuine soul. I loved when he would always sing “Mary Did You Know” around Christmas time at Forsan Baptist Church. So thankful my kids had him as their elementary principal, that I had the honor of working with him, that I went to church with him, and mostly that I was truly blessed by his friendship.

Dearest Cregar Family, I was saddened at the news of Mr. Cregar’s passing! What an an amazing man and principal he is!! He taught all of us Elbow/Forsan alumni the meaning of hard work, determination and respect!! We still use these instilled values each and every day of our lives now!! Mr. Cregar was such a kind man, but you didn’t want to get called into his office! Oh his office!! Who of us could ever forget the Buffalo painting hanging on his wall, with all the Buffalo head nickels attached to it!! So many great memories of knowing this legacy of an incredible educator and better man!! Y’all are in my thoughts and prayers during Mr. Cregar’s Home Going!! God Bless You All! Dear Creagar families, Our families have been connected for so many years and in so many ways. Beginning with elementary school at Elbow, we had track meets, Fall Festivals and of course the yearly tonette band concert! Then onto Junior High and High School we had more track meets (obviously, my favorite sport!), basketball, football, band and UIL events. Your parents were a constant in our school years, always cheering for us, working the concession stands, driving busses and just being the people we counted on for everything. From first grade until we walked the stage in 1979, I knew your parents were somewhere in the building, Many prayers are offered up for peace, comfort and understanding during this season of your lives. Mrs Cregar, Annette, Randy, and Karla my prayers are with all of you at this time. Mr. & Mrs. Cregar were always so good to us as kids. Gave us rides home after ballgames and later in life would just give me the biggest smile and chit chats when I would see them at sporting events. Mr Cregar made me feel like a Star when I was in a play in school and said I stole the show. He said he had recorded it. He was always recording!!!
