Willie B. Scurlark, of Houston formerly of Stanton, died June 16, 2008, in Houston. He was born on February 24, 1950 in Crockett to Warren C. and Eddie B. Scurlark. He worked for the United States Post Office for many years and was a graduate of Stanton High School. Visitation will be June 23 at Pruitt's Mortuary in Houston. Funeral services will be at Greater Vision Church in Houston with Pastor L.D. Lee officiating. He will be in state June 25 from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the Gilbreath Funeral Home in Stanton. Graveside services will be at 1:00 P.M. June 25 at the Evergreen Cemetery Stanton with Rev. David Harp pastor of First Baptist Church officiating. Survivors include his mother, Eddie B. Scurlark of Stanton; one son, Benjamin Scurlark of Augsburg, Germany; one daughter, Sabrina Kiessling also of Augsburg, Germany; eight sisters, Claudia Miles and husband Earl of Baytown, Ola Scurlark and Diann Scurlark both of Houston, Ella Scurlark, Caroline Scurlark, Melissa Scurlark Catherine Scurlark, Helen McCoy and husband, Anthony all of Midland; four brothers, Roy Scurlark and Michael Scurlark both of Midland, Steve Scurlark and wife Naomi of Big Spring and Warren Scurlark of Stanton and one granddaughter, Denise Scurlark of Augsburg, Germany.,
