William “Scott” Miller III, 63, Big Spring, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, September 17, 2021 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Due to the increase in Covid cases, face masks are requested.
He was born September 8, 1958, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to William Scott Miller, Jr. and Elizabeth Marie Meisburger Miller. Scott married Constance “Connie” Miller April 8, 1978, at Fort Hood, Texas.
Scott served 20 years in the United States Air Force and retired as a Staff Sergeant. He then worked at the Big Spring Veterans Administration Medical Center as a VA police officer for 16 years and for 5 years in administration. He enjoyed dogs and trained them as bomb, drug and rescue dogs and also held a kennel master certification.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Miller; a daughter, Monica Rosenberry; a son, William Scott Miller IV; a grandson, Kenneth Edward Rosenberry; and a sister, Michele Miller and fiancé, Bryant Bailey.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
