William Roger Duniven

William "Chick" Roger Duniven, 73, of Loving, New Mexico, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2008, in Midland, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 30, 2008 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel in Midland.William was born May 2, 1935, in Amarillo to Kathleen and Rayford Duniven. He married Loretta Phillips on July 2, 1954. He moved to Midland in 1969 from Amarillo, retiring in Loving, New Mexico. He enjoyed fishing and participating in bowling leagues. He was a land surveyor with Richard B. Duniven & Company for 39 years. Before his years as a land surveyor, he was an excellent printer. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Midland, Texas and New Mexico.Survivors include wife, Loretta Duniven of Loving, New Mexico; son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Maureen Duniven of Haskell; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Kenny Brumit of Midland; son and daughter-in-law, William and Pam Duniven of Loving, New Mexico; son, Danny Duniven of Hobbs, New Mexico; grandchildren, Tosh (Will) Duniven, Wendy Jenkins, Arron Duniven, Kasey Delmasso, Kyle Brumit, Coby Martin, Jared Duniven and Heather Duniven; great grandchildren, Ruger T. Duniven Easton Duniven, Kellie Jenkins, Katelyn Jenkins, Ethan Jenkins, Kathryn Duniven, Emalee Duniven, Brylie Duniven and Kyra Martin; brother, Richard B. Duniven of Midland; and sister, Betty Gill of Wimberly.He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Lawrence Duniven, his parents and his sister, Patricia Anita Duniven.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
