William Harrison "Bill" LinkBill Link, 81, of Odessa, went to be with our LORD and Savior, April 1, 2009 after a lengthy illness.Bill was born September 7, 1927 to Harrison Virgil "HV" Link & Derah Belle Smith in Spur, Texas. He married Elouise Lawrence June 25, 1947 in Lea County, NM.Bill graduated from Aspermont High School and served our country in the United States Navy as a SeaBee in the Asiatic Pacific Area during World War II. He owned and operated Link Pump Company until retirement. He loved fishing, hunting and in his earlier years, enjoyed dancing and golf. Bill loved to visit with people and never met a stranger. Many Odessans will attest to his regular visits, just to "check" in with friends.Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Elouise Link in 1986; father, HV Link in 1993; mother, Derah Belle Link in 2000 and grandson, Eddie Dickerson in 2006.He is survived by his daughter, Suzanne Dickerson and husband, Bob of Odessa; Sandra Sailors and husband, David of Carrollton; Bill Link Jr. and wife, Donna of Dublin; grandchildren, Amy Seaton and husband, Rick, Chris Lawson and wife, Kendra and Karris Littlepage and husband, Cory; great grandchildren, Katie Seaton, Zachary Lawson, Sydney Dickerson, Reese Littlepage and Brooke Littlepage; brothers-in-law, Calvin Lawrence and wife, Dolores and E.M. Lawrence; sisters-inlaw Jean Williams and husband, Doug, Mary Taylor and husband, Rod; as well as many nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held, Saturday, April 4, 2009, at McCoy Funeral Home in Aspermont, Tx from 12:00-2:00 pm with a graveside service to follow at 2:30 PM at the Aspermont Cemetery.The family would like to thank all of the friends and family for their support and uplifting prayers.
