“As your caregiver and as a friend to know you in a short period of time, you were a kind and generous man! Listening to all of your stories and the life of adventures you have had were encouraging to me. That life is short and to live it through the fullest! The only thing that lessens my grief as I say my final farewell is the memory of your smiling face. As we set today aside to honor and thank our veterans, let us be mindful that we should do this every day of the years and not just one.” Thank you William, Your friend Destani.
