William N. BeachWilliam N. Beach was born November 5, 1924 to Beulah Newell Beach and James Harmon Beach in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and passed away on December 21, 2006. After serving in the Air Force and graduating from the University of Oklahoma, he married Jeanne Ellen Swanson on December 22, 1950. They arrived in Midland in 1951 where he began his career in the oil industry working for Joseph I. ONeill. He continued his career as a consulting geological engineer with several oil and gas operators. In the late 1960s he co-founded his first operating company, Beach and Snoddy, with Sam Snoddy. In 1984 he founded Beach Exploration Inc. where several family members continue to work. He was active in this company until his time of death. Bill was a founding director of Credo Petroleum of Denver, Colorado and remained active until his death. He continued to enjoy the camaraderie of his coffee bunch? for over 35 years. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting with his bird dogs and fishing with friends and family.Family was the most important part of his life. He was an incredible husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife, Jeanne, six children and their spouses; Bill Beach, Jr., Carl Beach, Ellen and Bob Hinson, Julie and Mike LeMond, Becky and Philip Karper, and Sandy and Melissa Beach; seventeen grandchildren and their spouses, Kimberley Becker, Angie Beach, Jennifer and Brad Locklin, Billy Beach, Diane Beach, Christi and Jeff Pruitt, Brian and Marla Beach, Hutton Hinson, Barrett Hinson, Chance and Elise Alldredge, Christen Alldredge, Brett Alldredge, Kallie Karper, Kate Karper, Kent Karper, Pierson Beach and Merrick Beach; six great grandchildren; a brother, Charles Minshew and his wife, Barbara; and a sister, Ann Snouffer. Rejoice as I leave this life of illness and pain for eternal life with our Lord and Master, I have been waiting for His call,? Bill Beach. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 23, 2006 at First United Methodist Church, Midland, Texas.
