W.A. was born April 27, 1937 to Earl and Mildred Douglas. He lived on a cotton farm south of Stanton and attended Stanton High School. He farmed cotton for a while before moving to Midland and working for Drilco. After retirement, he settled south of Midland where he maintained his Christmas Tree Farm. He loved gardening, fishing and camping.
He is survived by his sons Michael Douglas, Marty Douglas and one daughter Carrie Leeper.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Gene Douglas.
