Wesley Dyer, 28, passed away April 10, 2021 in Midland, TX.  The wake will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 22, 2022 at Golf Course Road Church of Christ, with interment following at Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Wesley was born August 1, 1993 in Midland, Texas to LaShondia Lyvette Smith.  Wesley was raised here in Midland, Texas. He graduated from Midland High in 2012.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparent Curtis Lee Thomas and stepmom Jessica Marie Saverance.  He is survived by his mother LaShondia LaVette Smith, significant other Reggie Anders; stepdad Isaac Jerome Smith; brothers Colby Smith (wife) Katie Smith, and Zachary Smith, sisters Ashley Smith and Iyana Smith, all of Midland; nephew and nieces Malachi, Madison and MaKayla; grandmothers Vonda Thomas (Houston) & Hazel Smith (Midland); granddads Ike O’Neal(Dallas)and Marvin Saddler(Midland); aunts Katrina Thomas(Houston), Angela Gary(Arlington) , Patricia Whitley (Midland); godmother Linda Rogers; and a host of relatives and friends.

Wesley was led by passion and lived his life enjoying family and friends’ events.  He leaves us with our hearts joyful knowing he did his best. He just wanted us to be proud of him and we are glad to be a part of his journey. He is at rest and in God’s care.
