Welna McCain, 87of Midland, died on Thursday, October 17, 2002, in Midland. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, October 21, 2002 at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland with Rev. Glenda Harbert, officiating. She was born on June 17, 1914, in Iredell, Texas and married Paul McCain on August 3, 1941 in Iredell, Texas. He preceded her in death in August of 1993. She retired from Montogomery Ward in 1985, after twenty years. Welna was active in her church and in the auxillary at Trinity Towers. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Midland.Survivors include one daughter; Paula Williams of Midland, two grandchildren; Nici Williams and Jonathan Williams both of Midland, two sisters; Edna Whitney of Los Angeles, California, Bonnie Cosper of Alberquerque, New Mexico, two brothers; Tony Blue of Nashvillle, Tennesee, Harry Blue of Cransfils Gap, Texas.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.,
