To the family of Wayne Henry,We were out of town and missed the service for Wayne at Shamrock. Wayne was a special person. We met at a Happy Hearts lunch and connected quickly as we learned we had both graduated in 1956 with birthdays in July. We also shared an interest in golf, fishing and faith in Christ. I consider it a pleasure and honor to have known Wayne. Our prayers are with you.

My Goodness! I just heard about this with in the hour from Ben Bancroft. I called Frances..but I guess she was at the service.I sure enjoyed knowing Wayne Henry. He was so generous and light hearted. If Wayne ever had anything serious going on, you would never know it. I know he could always cheer up my dad (winston) and that took allot of work for most people. We had such good times at Church and Golf and throughout the 1960’s through the 1980’s and 90’s. Greg Kurt Shanna and Londa Coker Henry. You can be sure be proud of Wayne. He was fun person…I guess if you are remembered the way Wayne will be remembered, you will never really pass away. From the Wrinkles, Our love and hope for your peace in this time of sadness. dave
Greg and Kurt, We were so sorry to hear about your Dad. He was definitely one of a kind! I know he thought the world of you and passed on that perpetual smile and kindness you both possess. I wish I could be there today, and you know my Dad does as well. Love you both, Shannon

Dear Londa, I'm sure that our high school classmates join me in expressing sorrow on this sad news and that we cannot be with you.
I went to school with Wayne Henry. He was a wonderful and very respected person. A special memory that I have, is of a cook-out at his house at the ranch in Shamrock, that I attended. He will truly be missed and I am sad to hear of his passing.
