Wayman Keith Corbell was born on November 13, 1929 and died on July 12, 2018 in Plano, Texas. Wayman proudly graduated from Texas A&M University in 1951 and subsequently was commissioned in the United States Air Force where he served for 3 years. He married Regina Tooley in 1954 and they recently celebrated 63 years of marriage. After 40 years of employment with Mobil Oil, Wayman retired in Midland, Texas. He was an active member of First Presbyterian Church and donated much of his time to the Meals on Wheels Program in Midland.Although Wayman had a quiet demeanor, he was fiercely loyal to his family and will always be remembered as a wonderful provider and a source of tremendous support for those he loved and cherished.Wayman is survived by his wife, Regina and his children, Allison Corbell of Plano, Texas; Scott Corbell of Dallas, Texas; his daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Jim Compton of Fredericksburg, Texas; and one grandson, Christopher Compton, his wife Kendall, and precious 3-month old great granddaughter Lillian, all of Anacortes, Washington. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Vallie Lucille and Felix Randolph Corbell.A private family graveside service will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory in Midland.
