Wanda Wolf, 73, of Coahoma, died on Monday, October 16, 2006, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Elwin Collom , pastor of Hillcrest Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.She was born on August 31, 1933, in Big Spring, Texas and married Jack Wolf on December 27, 1951 in Big Spring, Texas. He preceded her in death on August 28, 1986.Wanda was a lifelong resident of Vincent and Coahoma. She graduated from Coahoma High School in 1951. She and her late husband farmed and ranched in the Vincent area and she was a homemaker, a mother, grandmother and dear friend. Wanda was a member of the Sister Act of Coahoma, Bluebonnet Belles of Big Spring, an avid supporter of Coahoma School teams and was active in Howard County Relay For Life. She was a member of First Baptist Church of CoahomaSurvivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Jack, Jr. and Jeanna Wolf of Dallas, and Steve and Jean Ann Wolf of Coahoma; two grandsons, Weylin Wolf of Coahoma and Lorin and wife, Kay Lee Wolf of Irving; three nieces and husbands, Kay and Eddie Mann of Saginaw, Sue and Mike Carter of Granbury, and Linda and Glen Berry of Coahoma; one grand nephew and wife, Cash and Leslie Berry of Big Spring; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Vernon and Delores Wolf of Vincent; and other nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents Loyd Branon on January 26, 1963 and Juanita Branon Walker on September 26, 1992, and one sister, Melba Branon Read on October 10, 1994. The family suggests memorials be made to Howard County Relay For Life, c/o Diane Wood, 3200 Greenbriar, Big Spring, Texas 79720.
