On January 6, 2008, William Hugh "Hoodie" Forester went to be with the Lord.Hoodie was born on April 16, 1924 in Pearsall, Texas. He used to break wild horses and ranch before moving to Wink, Texas where he met and married Pauline "Winkie" Wilhelm on October 24, 1955. He began an oilfield career overseas and they moved to South America (Bolivia, Columbia, and Venezuela) and lived 1 year in Cairo, Egypt before retiring in Odessa, Texas in 1978.Hoodie will best be remembered for his hard work ethics, sense of humor, crafty skills, and the best barbeque.Hoodie is preceded in death by his wife Pauline Forester, his son Robert Forester of Baytown, Texas, and a sister Janette Wilson of Wink, Texas.Hoodie is survived by two daughters Marianne Forester of Frisco, Texas and Dwendy Pennell and her husband Bruce Pennell of Midland, Texas, one grandson Brandon Huff of Odessa, Texas, and one sister Fanny Weston of San Angelo, Texas.Hoodie was loved by everyone he met and he will be dearly missed.Memorial contributions may be made to Home Hospice at 516 N. Texas, Odessa, Texas 79761.A private family memorial service will be held.,
