Virgil William Bebee

Virgil William Bebee, 67, of Big Spring, died on Wednesday, June 30, 2010, in a local hospital after a lengthy illness. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 3, 2010 at Mt. Olive Memorial Park. He was born on September 26, 1942, in Big Spring, Texas and married Ila Mae Meester on February 7, 1964 in Big Spring. Virgil had worked in the oilfield, building refineries and doing maintenance. He loved his grandkids, fishing and guns.Survivors include his wife, Ila Bebee of Big Spring, two daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Remigio Martinez of Antonito, Colorado and Cindy and Johnnie Quintana of Capulin, Colorado; one son, Phillip Wayne Bebee of Texarkana, Arkansas; one sister and brother-in-law, Thelma and Wayne Gibbs of Midland; one aunt, Christine Baker of Big Spring; one cousin, Choyia Kay Baker of Big Spring; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and 49 nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his father, Charles "A.C." Bebee of Big Spring; his mother, Ruby Holt of Davis, Oklahoma; two brothers, Fredrick Charles Bebee of Sommerville, Texas and Marion Bebee of Big Spring; one sister, Velva Marie Williams of Big Spring and two nephews.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
