Trixie Wilson, a beloved mother, grammy, sister, daughter, friend, and faithful servant of the Lord, went home to be with her Savior on Saturday, April 19, 2025 in Midland, Texas. Services will be at 3:30pm, Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at Nalley, Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel, with a family and friend gathering immediately after at 3600 S. Co. Rd. 1185, Midland, TX 79706. Her departure leaves a hole in the hearts of all who knew her, but her life was a shining example of joy, strength, and unwavering faith.
Trixie was born on September 2, 1959 in Seminole, Texas to J.E. Franks and Louise Franks. Trixie is survived by her children: Kristie Keyes and her husband Josh, Bobby Madron and his wife Crystal, Brandy George and her husband Jeff, and Dusty Wilson. She is also survived by her dad G.W. Grimes; brother Samuel Grimes and his wife Pam; sisters Trenia Wilson and her husband Tom and Tina Fitts and her husband Eric. She left behind 9 beloved grandchildren.
Trixie is preceded in death by her husband Benny Wilson, father J.E. Franks and mother Louise Grimes.
Trixie loved her family fiercely and unconditionally. Her happiest moments were those spent surrounded by her children and grandchildren—playing games, sharing laughter, and creating memories that will live on for generations. Her laughter was infectious, her hugs healing, and her love an anchor to those around her.
A true prayer warrior, Trixie lived her life with a heart turned toward Heaven. Her faith was the foundation of everything she did, and she carried others in prayer with a steadfastness and sincerity that brought comfort and peace. Her love for the Lord radiated from her in every word and action, touching countless lives.
She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—spending quiet mornings reading her bible, having a fishing pole in hand, evenings lost in classic Westerns, and every moment with her loyal dog Zealy, her constant and cherished companion.
Trixie had a big personality and an even bigger heart. She was the kind of woman who could walk into a room and make everyone feel seen, loved, and uplifted. Her legacy is one of love, laughter, faith, and fierce devotion—to her family, to her Lord, and to the life she lived so passionately.
She will be deeply missed, but her spirit lives on in every smile she inspired and every prayer she whispered for those she loved.
