Tristan Blake Cox, 26, joined heavenly family and friends September 18, 2015 in Los Angeles, California, after a brief illness.Tristan was born December 27, 1988 in Midland, Texas to Blake and Donna Holbrook Cox. Tris attended Greenwood Elementary and Junior High School and graduated high school from Trinity School of Midland. It was not unusual for Tris to bring his telescope to get togethers so friends could see the wonders of the heavens.Tristan is preceded in death by his grandfather, Jim Holbrook. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Blake and Donna; his beloved brothers, Chase and Spencer; his sister-in-law, Nicole and his adored nephew, Jackson; his grandparents, Jim and Pat (Holbrook) Shirley, and Bobby Joe and Joan Cox and the love of his life, Vanessa Kemling.A private graveside service will be held Saturday, October 24th, at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring, Texas with Mary Beth Anton, Associate Pastor at First Presbyterian Church, Midland, officiating.
