Traci Lynn Klein, 34, of Midland, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023. Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 4:30PM at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel.
Traci was a fiercely loving mother and wife. Anyone who knew her, knew she would move heaven and earth for her children and adored her husband Chris. She and Chris had a passion for hard rock and metal music and spent their honeymoon and anniversary on the Ship Rocked Cruises living their best life. They loved to travel to see their favorite bands and made friends with many of the artists they met along the way. They took as many getaways as they could with Emma and Parker who were always their first priority. Traci married her best friend and love of her life Chris on January 14, 2021 in Fairfield, CT and had an amazing life planned for their family. Traci’s beautiful soul was taken from everyone who loved her far too soon.
Traci was born on August 21, 1988 to Renae and Ralph Simon in Midland, TX. After graduating from Permian High School in 2006, she went on to earn both her bachelor’s degree in business administration and her accelerated master’s degree in professional accounting and CPA at the University of Texas at Austin. Traci continued on to have a successful, 13-year career. For the last 6 years she worked at Polyflow, a division of Baker Hughes, where she served as their controller. She had just accepted her dream job as Controller at Oasis when her life was cut short.
She is survived by her husband and soulmate Christopher Klein, her beautiful children Emma (8) and Parker (6) Woods, her aunt and second mother Sherry Milam, her loving sister Jaci Mason and her 2 nieces Aubree and Rylee Mason, father Ralph Simon, great aunts Gloria Milam and Peggy Dickson, aunt and uncle Carl and Shelly Milam, aunt Brenda Mcdiffitt and many cousins.
