It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tony De La Garza, a cherished husband and devoted family member.
Tony was born on March 31, 1965, to John De La Garza, and Marcella Raya in Moses Lake, Washington. He departed this world peacefully at home, on June 4, 2026, in Big Spring, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of strength and resilience.
Tony was proud of the time he served in the United States Marine Corps. He devoted many years of his life to his work in the oil fields as a roughneck.
In honoring Tony’s memory, his family will be holding a private memorial service that will take place at a later date.
Although he has departed from this world, Tony will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
As we reflect upon Tony’s life, we remember his laughter, his strength, and his unwavering spirit. He will be deeply missed, yet we find comfort in the memories we shared and the impact he had on our lives. May he rest in peace.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Denise De La Garza, who was his partner in all things, sharing laughter, joy, and dreams, and was dedicated in both sickness and health. Their bond was a testament to love’s enduring power, and together they navigated the ups and downs of life, always finding solace in one another.
He is also survived by his father John De La Garza; stepmother, Yolanda De La Garza; sisters Paula Shoop, Andrea Yabarra, and Terra Donovan; sons Nicholas De La Garza and Eric De La Garza; grandchildren, Addison, Owen, and Charlotte De La Garza; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
