Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 10, 2003 at the Crestview Baptist Church in Midland with Dr. John Gerlach, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 pm on Wednesday, April 9, 2003 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Midland.He was born on November 12, 1937, in Clarksville, Arkansas. He and Jo Ann Braswell married on November 24, 1960 at Albrook Air Force Base, Canal Zone, Panama. He served for 22 years in the United States Air Force. After retiring from the Air Force, he was a division manager for Bell Petroleum Service. He founded and owned Petroplex Pipe & Construction. He was a member of Crestview Baptist Church.Survivors include his wife; Jo Ann Bridges of Midland, one son; T.R. Bridges of Midland, one daughter; Charlotte Guinn and her husband Keith of Midland, two sisters; Jolene Landthrip of Arkansas, Jerri Tittle of Oklahoma, three brothers; Bobby Bridges of Arkansas, Mike Bridges of Houston, and Don Bridges of Arkansas, two grandchildren; Zachary Guinn and Tatum Guinn.
