Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at the First United Methodist Church of Stanton.The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at the Gilbreath Funeral Home in Stanton.Tom was born May 18, 1937 in Stanton, Texas, and married Anita Loy Ringener January 16, 1960.He worked for Cap Rock Electric and Westex in Stanton before purchasing The Depot Pizza and Deli in Odessa in July of 1981.Tom is survived by one son, Larry Johnson and wife, Connie of Odessa; two daughters, Leah Mitchell and husband, Jimmy of Lenorah, and Julie Johnson of Big Spring; five grandchildren, LyAnna Johnson of Houston, Samantha Clark and husband, Mickey of Klamath Falls, Oregon, Cole Mitchell and wife, Jamie of Lenorah, Clay Mitchell and wife, Whitney of Lubbock, and Cody Mitchell of Lenorah; and two great grandchildren, Olivia and Sawyer Mitchell.He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita Johnson, parents, Jimmie D. and Vivian Grace (Webster) Johnson, and seven brothers and sisters.Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbreath Funeral Home of Stanton.
