Tina LaRue, 45, of Coahoma, died on Wednesday, August 8, 2001, in Midland from injuries received in an automobile accident. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, August 10, 2001, at the First United Methodist Church in Big Spring with Rev. Richard Dickerson, pastor of Temple Baptist Church of Amarillo, officiating. He will be assisted by Dr. David Ring, pastor of First United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. She was born on May 1, 1956 in Waco, Texas and married Bobby LaRue on October 1, 1981 in Big Spring, Texas. Tina was a lifelong resident of this area and graduated from Big Spring High School in 1974. She had worked as a teacher's aid at Coahoma for a number of years and was currently working for Rip Griffin Oil Company in Lubbock. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church and had been a member of Rainbow Girls while in high school. She was active with the Relay For Life and a member of the Men In Black team. Survivors include her husband, Bobby LaRue of Coahoma; two daughters, Jennifer LaRue and Cristy LaRue both of Coahoma; her mother, Cleta Britton of Big Spring; two brothers, Guy Teague of Big Spring and Kenneth R.
