Timothy "Tim" R. Brenon, 48, of El Paso, died on Saturday, August 22, 2009, in Tucson, Arizona. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 26, 2009, at the St. Stephen's Catholic Church with Father Terry Brenon, officiating. A rosary service was held Tuesday, August 25, 2009, at 8:00 P.M. at St. Stephen's Catholic Church.He was born on December 11, 1960, in Massena, New York. Tim attended school in upstate New York until the 11th grade and moved to Midland with his family in January 1976, graduating from Midland High School. He worked with Southwestern Bell in the summer while he was at Texas Tech. He then married Donna Ortiz on October 22, 1983, in Midland. Tim was an engineer for firms in Wolfforth and in Lubbock for many years. He and Donna moved to El Paso to be near her family in 2008. He enjoyed woodworking and was a member of the Knights of Columbus of Lubbock. Survivors include his wife, Donna Brenon of El Paso; one son Cody Brenon, serving, in the United States Navy, and wife Jordyn; a grandson, Ryland Brenon all of Norfolk, Virginia; his parents Victor and Laura (Janet) Brenon of Midland; four brothers, Fr. Terry Brenon of Abilene, Chris Brenon of Midland, Charles Brenon of Lamesa, John Brenon of Andover, Kansas; and two sisters, Lisa Fournier of Port Orange, Florida, and Jennifer Brenon of Midland.Tim was preceded in death by his grandparents, many aunts and uncles, and a cousin.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Battered Women's, PO Box 11331, Midland, Texas 79702; Hospice of Midland, PO Box 2621, Midland, Texas 79702; the Knights of Columbus Lubbock, 1619 Erskine St, Lubbock, TX 79403-3221, or to the Knights of Columbus-Midland, 4601 N FM 1788, Midland, TX 79707-8947Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
