Thomasine Handley, 81, of Greenwood, died on Thursday, November 6, 2008, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 10, 2008 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel in Midland with Rev. Terry Easley, officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. She was born on January 26, 1927, in Canadian, Texas and married Owen Handley on July 23, 1949 in Pampa, Texas.Survivors include husband, Owen Handley of Greenwood; a daughter and son-in-law, Molly and Matt Slattery of Evergreen, Colorado; a niece, Misty Curtiss of Dallas, Texas; a nephew, Tom Carruth of Antadena, California; a brother and sister-in-law, Canara and Vontell Carruth of Irving, Texas; four grandchildren and two great granddaughters.She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son Hoyt Handley.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
