This is to inform you friends and family that Tommy Lee Tarango, 23, joined our creator on July 2, 2023 in Midland, Texas. He kept his battle with himself. It was a very challenging time for the whole family, but part of us is happy with that Tommy can finally rest with no pain.
He was born October 11, 1999 in Lubbock, Texas to Tommy B. Tarango and Mirian L. Manriquez. He was a 2019 graduate of Robert E Lee High School in Midland. He played Lacrosse at Midland Lee and Midland High Club teams. Tommy was the front man of Stone Light, a country alternative band. He was an avid hunter and golfer. Tommy worked as a director of information and technology in the oilfield industry. He lived life to the fullest through extraordinary pleasures, such as bull riding and playing country music.
Tommy is survived by his father, Tommy B. Tarango; stepmother, Holly E. Tarango; mother, Mirian L. Manriquez; half-brother, Jaylen Manriquez (Shannon); step brother, Alyjah Esparaza; step sister, Catalina Gomez; grandmother, Mary B. Tarango (Tita); Grandparents, Arthuro and Juana Manriquez; Aunt, Patricia Rodriguez (Ernest); uncle, Alfred Tarango III (Tammy); aunt, Jennifer Baird (Kevin); aunt, Irma Ogle (Charlie); Uncle, Rico Manriquez; aunt, Misuky Manriquez (Ben); he is also survived by several cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Alfred Tarango, Jr. “Tato”.
A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm, Monday, July 10, 2023 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Midland. A funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm, Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
