My sincerest condolences to the family. Remembering Tom from high school and boy scouts. Our campouts with his dad Bucky and brother Mike are parts of my early year's memories. As I would say in memory of shipmates that have gone on to their eternal reward: Fair Winds and Following Seas, Rest easy till we meet again.

I remember Tom, his brother Mike, and his father Bucky very well during the years my brother Steve and I were members of Boy Scout Troop 40 that met in the basement of the Methodist church in Tioga Center, New York. Our Troops's claim to fame was winter camping in the snow along Pipe Creek a few miles north of Tioga Center and the Strope family residence on Halsey Valley Road. Those were fun times, especially with Tommy's antics. He was a number one cut-up and always made for unexpected shenanigans during our camping. Those were good days for sure! My condolences to Tom's family. Without doubt you miss him very much.

It was an honor and blessing to know Tom during his employment at First Methodist Church. He was a true man of God with strong convictions.

Much can be said about Tom. We always called him Brother Tom!!! He was a great man, friend, mentor and most importantly disciple of Jesus Christ. We'd been good friends 14 years. I first met him at The School of Christ teaching ministry in Beaumont, TX, back in June 2009. From that day we've been good friends. He was always there to me and was like a father. I confided in him a lot and will dearly miss him. I hope to make the funeral, but if I don't my condolences and prayers are with the family!!! I last spoke to him two weeks ago. He did everything he could to talk to me. He was very much in pain. My prayer touched him and his did me too. Hevery selflessly prayed for my Mom who had just gotten out of the hospital. He always loved his kids and just wanted to see them follow the same Christ he does. To his family let me know if I can ever help!!!
