Thomas Bost, 61 of Midland, passed suddenly on Wednesday, May 8, 2024. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm-8:00pm, Thursday, May 16, 2024 at The Branch at npw. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, May 17, 2024 at the Branch at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Resthaven North Cemetery.

Thomas was born on July 24, 1962 in Lubbock, Texas to Patsy and Raymond Bost. He was the youngest of 4 siblings. Tom graduated from Lamar High school in Arlington, TX in 1980. Tom was a hardworking entrepreneur, a cherished husband, and beloved father and grandfather. Tom had two successful companies in his lifetime: TSB Construction and Landscapes by Thomas, LLC.  If you met Tom you knew he was passionate about his beliefs and those he loved. Tom loved and was loved by many, his clients, employees, many plant retailers, and most abundantly his family. Tom loved his family fiercely, his wife Keila, his two children Taylor and Derian, stepchildren Kaci and Shelbi and 9 grandchildren. He worked hard, he played big, he talked a lot of crap often. Always competitive. Always on the go. There is a gap in the world without him in it. Tom will be greatly missed.

Tom is survived by his mother Patsy, wife Keila, son Derian, daughter Taylor and her 3 daughters: Everleigh, Elise, Emma. stepdaughter Kaci and her 3 children; Brooke’Lyn, Kahler, Braxtyn. stepdaughter Shelbi and husband Josh with their children; Madison, Hayes, Henley, brothers Steve and wife Sharon, Stan and wife Linda, sister Lisa and husband Tank, along with many nieces and nephews.  Tom is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Bost

Pallbearers will be Derian Bost, Josh Flowers, Kahler Reeves, Jmac Richardson, Michael Ridenour, Cain Maddaford, Ryan Harrison, and Damon Ewing.

Dear Family, I was shocked and saddened today to learn of Tom’s sudden death. I only knew him briefly but felt instantly he was a friend. Our meeting was by chance. Last year I was looking for help with my yard and saw one of his trucks on the street and called the number. Tom was such a gentleman, listened to my ideas and kept my budget in mind. Tom had a heart of gold, he helped us a lot with my elderly parents ancient sprinkler system. He made such an impression on me that I befriended him on Facebook and kept up with him afterwards even though my parents no longer lived in midland, and I hadn’t lived there since 1983! What a beautiful giving soul he had, I’m sure he is enjoying his time in heaven, where he belongs.
