Thelma Barlow, 87, of Midland, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2005, in a local nursing home. Graveside services will be held at 9:00 AM Thursday, August 11, 2005 at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland. Thelma was born on April 10, 1918,to Luther and Clara Birtha McCollum in County Line, Oklahoma.She operated a Mexican Food Resturant in Lawton OK for 2 and a half years and in Ponca City, OK for 12 years retiring in 1986.Her family and work were her life. She took care of family members where there was a need. She was a very generous, loving lady and an extraordinary loving, kind, and generous mother and grandmother.Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Delores and Ed King of Midland; one sister, Dema McNaughton of Oklahoma City; three grandchildren, Mike King of Midland, Jeff King of Jacksonville Beach, FL and DeeAnna Murfellow of Raleigh NC; 4 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.,
