Terry Lee Hanson

Terry Lee Hanson, 71, of Big Spring, passed away March 19th, 2022. He will lie in state from 8:30am until 9:00pm Tuesday, March 22nd at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 10:00am, Wednesday March 23rd, 2022 at Trinity Memorial Park Peace Chapel.

Terry was born November 8th, 1950 in Big Spring, Texas to Leonard and Mary Helen Hanson. He graduated from Big Spring High School and received a bachelor’s degree from Angelo State University. He enjoyed hunting, boat racing, watching sports and specifically Howard College sports, joking around, and drinking cold Coors Light. He farmed for many years and later went to work for Howard College where he retired in 2017.

Terry is survived by his brother Gary Hanson (Kayla) of Big Spring, one sister: Carol Sneed (Boyce) of Big Spring, Lori Duffer (Kenny) of Big Spring, Mallory Clinkscales (Austin) of Big Spring, Gunnar Kennedy of Big Spring, honorary great-grandkids Henzley, Hutton Lee and Hogan, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Terry is preceded in death by his father Leonard Hanson and mother Mary Helen.
