Terry Lee Adams went home at the age of 95. She was a bright light and always had a cheerful smile at Manor Park where she spent her last years. Terry lived in the memory center. She never met a stranger and would offer the mealtime prayer giving thanks in Jesus’ name.
Mom was born in Guthrie, Oklahoma, the third of five children to Arthur and Willie Anne Fagan. She grew up during the Great Depression and never forgot the value of a dollar. God sent Jim Adams to our family in 1969. They spent the rest of their lives loving each other and talking and teaching others about Jesus. Mom and Pop were pillars at First Baptist Church and were dedicated “Prayer Warriors!”
Terry loved traveling, camping, snow skiing, Andrew’s City 4th of July celebration turtle races and school activities until God called Jim home nine years ago.
She leaves behind her sons, Robert, David (Barbara), Charles (Lou Ann); daughters, Leslie (Jerry) and Patricia; grandchildren, Kristin (Robert), Chris (Hollie), Chad (Albany), Ryan, Tori (Grayson), Petra, Wynn and Nathan; great grandchildren, Ben (Abby), Hope, Noah, Charlotte; one great-great grandchild and a host of grand & great grandchildren that she claimed.
