Terry L. Baker, born March 21, 1961 to B.A. and Carol Baker, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on December 8, 2015 surrounded by family members and friends, including Terry’s little soldier, his son, Trey. Terry loved God, his family, his friends, his job, telling jokes, his waterbed, and his Dallas Cowboys. He was born in Midland, Texas and graduated in 1979 from Midland High School. Save a 10 year stint in which he owned Mr. Reuben’s Restaurant, he worked in oilfield sales. At the time of his death, he was employed at J&W Services and Equipment and considered himself blessed to earn money in something he loved. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, brother, Jimmy, and two year old niece Kelsey Logan. He was survived by his three treasures: Dylan (Austin), Trey (Midland), Hannah (Fort Collins, Colorado), their mother and his former wife of 25 years and current close friend, Nancy Piette. He was also survived by his little brother and great friend, Steve Baker, and his wife Melissa, and their son, Casey (affectionately known as Daryl); his brother Rick (wife, Arlene) and countless other extended family, nieces & nephews and friends.Services are at 10:00 am, Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel. The family requests that everyone refrain from wearing black as it is not a time to mourn, but a time to rejoice and celebrate his life. Thus, wear your favorite color or an article of Dallas Cowboy clothing. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Kelsey Logan Angel Fund “Love Gifts for Children with Cancer.” In closing, the family would like to thank Brent Beck and the family at J&W; the nurses at Midland Memorial and Baylor All Saint’s Hospital in Fort Worth; his close and longtime friend, James Hendry; and last, but not least, his sister-in-law, best friend, and angel on Earth who was his rock these last two and one-half months. After the services, the family requests everyone to come to Terry’s home at Steve & Melissa’s for bar-b-que and pot luck.,
