Terry Bob Makowsky, age 69 of Big Spring, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021.
The family will receive friends from 2:30pm to 4:30pm on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.
He was born August 2, 1952 in Lamesa, Texas to parents Daniel John Makowsky and Bobbie (Carraway) Makowsky.
Terry was born, raised and lived his entire life in West Texas. He graduated from Lamesa High School in 1970. He lived in Lamesa, Ackerly and Big Spring. For the last 33 years he lived in Big Spring where he worked as a cotton farmer, hotoil operator and general contractor. He enjoyed spending time with friends, hanging out telling stories and having a “cold one” or “wettin’ a hook” or better yet having a “cold one” while “wettin’ a hook.”
Survivors include sons Daniel Makowsky of St. Louis, MO, Monty Makowsky of Lamesa, TX and Matthew Makowsky of Lubbock, TX and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Dan and Bobbie Makowsky and brothers Michael Makowsky and Jeff Makowsky.

So sorry to hear about Terry, I just found out. I live in Mason, Tx and Terry is my first cousin. He would call when he was in town but I hadn't heard from in awhile. I tried to find his number but I guess I lost it. I will always was remember he would say "adios" instead of good bye. Prayers for the family, he was one of a kind.

He was a special guy, would always make you laugh and could make it a better day. Not going to be the same without him. Rip.

Matt;Daniel and Monty. I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. Your Father was A Good Honorable Friend To Me. I Will Miss your Father everytime I close up the shop. As He And I closed up the shop many times AND then some. Ro's Fleet Maintenance will Not Be The Same With Him Not There. Now He Is Up In Heaven With Ro'!!!! Yelling Yippie Ka Yay...M.F. Remember...... Be A Little Careful Out There...!!!- God Bless You and your Families

Matt and Daniel we are so sorry for your loss. Terry Bob was a beautiful soul. He knew how to keep us laughing. He will be greatly missed. Our weekends will be a little less without him in them. We are so glad that we got to meet you and your families. Remember if yall need anything yall are welcome to call us anytime. Fly High T-Bob!!!
