Terry Bennett, 69, of Midland, left this life to be with the Lord Monday, October 5, 2009, at his home in Midland. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, October 10, 2009 at the West Kentucky Baptist Church in Midland with Brother Bob Porterfield, officiating. Terry was born on November 30, 1939, in Indianola, IL to Wade and Ruth Bennett. He married the love of his life Sally Pearson, on April 18, 1959 in Danville, IL.Terry was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He loved to read, garden, and was a anvid woodworker, he also loved his dog, Sweetie. He was a very caring and giving person. His passion in life was making everyone happy and having a personal relationship with His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Survivors include wife, Sally of Midland; son, Mark and Robin Bennett of Odessa; daughter, Jill and Steve Bodiford of Midland; son, Terry Ray and Toni Annette of Houston; grandson, Mark Alan and Brandi Bennett of Boise, ID; grandson Kevin Bennett, of Boise ID; granddaughter Chrissy Bennett of Boise, ID; grandson Aaron Bennett of Gulfport, MS; grandson, Brandon Bennett of Sealy, TX; granddaughter, Holly and Larry Davison of Odessa; grandson, Casey Gray of San Diego, CA; grandson, Jade and Kelsi Gray of Odessa; granddaughter Stefani and Jonthan Clark of Midland; granddughter Susan and Lonnie White of Midland; granddaughter Vanessa Bennett of Houston; grandson Shaun Bennett of Houston; grandson Philip Bennett of Houston; 7 great grandchildren; twin brother, Larry and Arlene Bennett of Kentland, IN; brother Kenneth Bennett of San Diego, CA; sister Elaine and Dallas Springman of Sebring, FL; sister Linda Peters of Phoenix, AR; sister Sandra Walker of Phoenix, AR; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Arnold Bennett, Dean Bennett, Lowell Bennett, Ivan Bennett, and sister Dorothy Brainer.
