Teresa Karen Wright, 58, passed from this life to her heavenly home on April 27, 2016 after a courageous battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She had a beautiful smile and was fully devoted to her family. For those who knew her, her infectious laugh will always be in their memory.She was born to the late Rex Chambers and Joreen Chambers in Albany, Texas on April 29, 1957. She graduated from Fort Stockton High School in 1975. On February 22, 1975 Teresa married the love of her life, Stacy Wright, in Odessa, Texas. She worked for several companies as a bookkeeper. For the last 28 years, she was the Office Manager for The Chambers Companies.Teresa cherished her family and friends with all of her being. She loved to travel and go on vacations to near and far away places…swimming with family in her backyard pool, the mountains and horse races in Ruidoso, New Mexico; islands of the Caribbean, Hawaii and beaches of the gulf and west coast. Teresa planned for years so that she and Stacy could travel to New Zealand. In 2015 for their 40thwedding anniversary they did go to New Zealand for 10 days and it was the trip of a lifetime. She LOVED the water…being on it, being in it, looking at it and listening to it. Teresa was also a huge sports fan and enjoyed watching football, basketball, baseball and golf. The Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers had a special place in her heart. In recent years she loved spending time with her granddaughter, Sophia, and being her Nonnie.Teresa is survived by her husband, Stacy; her son Shane Wright and his wife Brittany of Midland, Texas; daughter Haylee Wright and fiancé Wesley Shumskie of Midland, Texas; her granddaughter Sophia Wright; mother Joreen Chambers of Midland, Texas; brother Jackie Chambers and wife Prissy of Midland, Texas; and a number of nieces and nephews.Visitation was Friday, April 29, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Nalley Pickle & Welch Funeral Home at 3800 N. Big Spring St, Midland, TX 79705. A Memorial Service will be Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Nalley Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Home Hospice 200 West Illinois, Suite 190, Midland, TX 79701 or Lone Star Sanctuary for Animals, 4200 N. Fairgrounds Rd, Midland, TX 79705 or you may donate to either organization by clicking the Memorial tab below. ,
