Tena Shepherd

Tena Shepherd, 65 of Midland, Texas passed away on May 9, 2024. A service will take place at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Solid Rock Fellowship Out West.

A graveside service has been scheduled for 1:00pm, Monday, June 10, 2024 at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.

Tena was born June 17, 1958 in Big Spring, Texas to Brady and Mary Madry. Tena married her high school sweetheart, Michael Leon Shepherd, in 1975. They had three children, Jimmy Allen, Michael Lynn and Aundrea Dawn who she loved so very much. She graduated from school to become an LVN in 1993 and loved being able to take care of people. Her hobbies included drinking coffee with her friends and family, spending time at her church and shooting her guns.

Tena is survived by her husband, Michael Leon Shepherd; her son, Michael and wife Sheila; daughter, Aundrea and husband Mikey; her five granddaughters; sisters, Patsy and Beverly; father-in-law James and multiple nieces and nephews.

Tena is preceded in death by her parents, Brady and Mary; son, Jimmy; her brothers, Brady, Charles, Bill, Edward and Rocky; mother-in-law, Esther and sisters-in-law, Darla and Terry.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the friends and family that supported Tena and her family through this, Interim Hospice, the hospitals, nursing homes, and staff that provided her with the best care.

Flowers may be sent to Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home or in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a hospice of your choice.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Moore, Tommy Moore, Doug Bowling, Rusty Nichols, Keith Bowling and Koby Bowling.
