Tanya Evans, 57, of Midland, went to be with the lord on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, with her daughters by her side.Tanya was born on January 26, 1958 in Hobbs, New Mexico, the daughter of Olen Eugene Sparger and the late Doris Hughes.She had such a passion for life and always had a beautiful smile on her face. She worked at GE Oil and Gas for 20 years as a material planner and was extremely dedicated to her job.She enjoyed traveling, the beach, reading, shopping, tennis and spending time with her family. She was ecstatic to witness the birth of all five of her grandchildren and was always the first one to get in the floor and play and love on each and every one of them. Not only to her daughters, but all others, she was the most honest and reliable person, all the while remaining totally selfless with every fiber of her being.She is survived by her father, Olen Sparger; two daughters, Brandy Montgomery and husband Dee of Midland, and Reesa Moore and husband Beau of Midland; five grandchildren, Jayden Evans, Khloe Montgomery, Legend Montgomery, Connor Moore, and Mason Moore, and loving Step-Father Marvin Hughes.Preceding Tanya in death and awaiting her arrival up above is her mother, Doris Hughes and brother, Steve Eugene Sparger.A memorial service to celebrate the life of Tanya will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at 11:00 am at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel with Reverend Eric Clark officiating.Honorary pallbearers will be Brent Withers and George Kiker.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that friends honor Tanya by sending donations in her name to MD Anderson Cancer Research Hospital, Houston, Texas and Home Hospice 200 West Illinois Avenue, Suite 190 Midland, Texas 79707.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
