Sydney Ann Dickerson- April 4, 2005Sydney was blessed with her angel wings on September 18, 2016. Her final days were surrounded by family and friends that she had touched in so many ways throughout her short, yet memorable life. Sydney’s life would seem too short for many, but those that were touched by her knew that she lived life to the fullest. Sydney was always smiling and enjoyed hobbies that included volleyball, tubing, hunting, cooking, the Garage Gang, wakeboarding, dancing, Stonegate Youth, Alpha Cheer and Dance, making music, riding horses, hover boarding and enjoying life. She loved pulling pranks, making people laugh and creating extreme food challenges.Sydney will be giving new light to heaven while awaiting the arrival of her Mother (Valerie Matthews) and her Big Daddy (Jimmy Matthews) whose lives revolved around her. Sydney also awaits Sloan, who is more than just her sister, she was her shadow, her playmate, her dancing and hunting buddy, and also her partner in crime. In addition to her immediate family, Sydney leaves behind many loving grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and an abundance of friends, who all surrounded her with love and support throughout her life.With Sydney’s heavenly arrival, we remind others that her life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss her every day, especially her smile. She will forever be in our hearts. Visitation will be Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Midland, from 6:00-8:00pm.
