Susan “Sue” Hannaman, 59, of Midland, TX passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023. Sue was born in West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Kitty Hannaman.
She is survived by her brother, Steven Hannaman (Millie) and sister, Sherry Rhodes (Rick); nephews Chris Rhodes, Jason Rhodes, and Matthew Hannaman and great nephew, Joseph Rhodes, who was the light of her life.
Sue was retired as an Assistant Director at the Railroad Commission of Texas. Currently, Sue was working as a petroleum engineer in the Regulatory Department with ConocoPhillips. She had a passion for prison ministries and helping those in need. She was active in spreading God’s Love and Grace through churches, street ministries, at work and in every facet of her life.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Sue’s very special friends, co-workers and her “Texas Family” and many, many friends. A special thank you goes out to Dawn & James Jonas, Joe & Chloe Pichotta, Jennifer Baker, Ellen & Josh Paulsen and Connie Alexander for all that they have done. We can never repay your kindness. Sue also shared a very special connection with Jennifer’s boys, Eliath and Dimitri Rangel and was honored to be their honorary grandma. She loved them dearly.

The family will receive guests on Friday, September 29, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. thru 8:00 p.m. at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Midland. Memorial Service will be held on October 21, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Stepping Stone Church, 2410 Elkins Road, Midland.
