Summer Smith, 27, of Big Spring, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2005, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 5, 2005 at the First Baptist Church in Big Spring with Rev. Randy Gee, pastor of Crestview Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.She was born on May 3, 1977, in Fredericksburg, Texas.Summer had lived in Abilene for 10 years and in Big Spring for the last 17 years. She graduated from Forsan High School and Howard College. She was a member of First Baptist Church.Survivors include her mother and step father, Glenda and Bobby Brewer of Big Spring; her father, Steve Smith of Big Spring; her sister and brother-in-law, Michele and Art Trevino of Big Spring; her maternal grandmother, Fern Lewis of Big Spring; her paternal grandmother, Judy Smith of Big Spring; one nephew, Seth Trevino and two nieces, Gabbie Trevino and Lexie Trevino all of Big Spring; her aunts and uncles, Charlie and Charla Lewis of Big Spring, Patty Brewer Rodriguez of Los Angeles, California, Dalton and Carol Lewis of Big Spring, JoAnn Kennedy of Big Spring, Louis and Nancy Dunnam of Midland and Suzanne Smith of Midland; and a number of great aunts, great uncles and cousins.The family suggests memorials be made to the Dream Foundation, 621 Chapala St., Suite D, Santa Barbara, CA 93101 or Make-A-Wish Foundation of West Texas, 3800 E. 42nd Street, Suite 512, Odessa, Texas 79762.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
