Sonora Greenlaw, 84, of Midland peacefully entered eternal life on Monday, November 13, 2006 at the Hospice Inpatient Unit at Midland Memorial Hospital. Services will be held on Friday, November 17th, 2006 at 4:00 pm at St. Paul?s Anglican Church, 2900 Princeton Avenue in Midland with the Reverends Jon Stasney and Jonathan Hartzer officiating. Pat was born to Edward C. and Nell F. Patton on July 19, 1922 in Stephenville, Texas where she lived until after college when she began her career. She held secretarial and administrative positions with the CAA and in the oil and medical fields until retirement in 1985. She married the love of her life, Don Greenlaw, on October 20, 1946. They were blessed by a deep and very special love for one another for 28 years until he passed away on October 17, 1974. Affectionately called G.G. by her grandchildren, she loved nature, animals, painting and gardening. Despite failing vision in later years she continued to crochet and gave countless afghans to family, friends and charities. She was a member of Christ Church Midland. Survivors include two daughters, Terry Toolen and husband Bob of St. Louis, MO and Kasey Weaver and husband Phil of Midland, TX; three grandchildren, Kevin Toolen of St. Louis, Mo, Lauren Weaver of Houston, TX and Andrew Weaver of Bryan, TX; one sister, Martha Wolfe of Jacksboro, TX.
