Sondra Ann Clark, 72, of Midland, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2015 after years of serious illness. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 7:00-9:00pm at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 11, 2015 at 9:00am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2101 Tarleton St, Midland, TX. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.Sondra was born on October 12, 1943 to Albert Donofrio and Kathryn Pazel in Boonton, NJ. As a wife in a military family Sondra was stationed at bases all over the United States. She was well known professionally for her organizational skills and her ability to “just get things done”. She retired after twenty-five years of being a secretary in the United States Air Force and enjoyed doing what she considered her patriotic duty. Sondra enjoyed painting, drawing, playing the piano, reading, and traveling with her family. She was a very attentive Grandmother.At her passing she was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a strong conviction of the atonement and resurrection of Jesus Christ and loved to share her testimony with others.She is survived by her husband, Kent D. Clark (Retired USAF Colonel). She is also survived by her three children: Susi Jones, John Nolan and Patricia Lopez from her previous husband of forty-two years, Pat Nolan. Other survivors include her brother, Jerry Donofrio, thirty-four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be donated to the USAF Association 1501 Lee Highway, Arlington, VA, 22209-1198., VA 22209-1198Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
