Simon Vasquez Medrano, 60 of Midland, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021. A visitation will begin at 12 PM to 9:00PM on Tuesday, September 14th at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory. A Rosary will be held at 7:00PM that evening at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 15th at Nalley-Pickle & Welch followed by Graveside Services at Serenity Memorial Garden Cemetery.
Simon was born on July 9, 1961 in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico to Simon Vasquez Medrano Sr. and Josefina Mocta Medrano. He was married to his loving wife Sandra for over 32 years.
He loved working on his family’s ranch and riding horses. He was a very hard worker, and quick to learn a new skill, Simon had natural talent in construction. From laying brick to operating heavy equipment, He was well liked by all and a very caring, and loving man. He worked at R&R Huffman Contracting for 10 years where he was a heavy equipment operator.
Simon is survived by his wife Sandra Medrano, and his brothers and sisters Elpidia Lebario, Ricardo Medrano, Lupe Galindo, Almas Rosa Medrano, Jose Medrano, Lazaro Medrano, Juana Carlos Medrano, Eimy Renteria, and Judit Medrano
Simon was preceded in death by his parents, Simon Sr. and Josefina Medrano
