Shirley was born on September 24, 1938 in Denton, Texas to Homer and Urena Jones. She was a dedicated school teacher for over thirty years. After retirement from MISD, she enjoyed her luncheons with fellow retired teachers, as well as her ladies luncheons at Crestview Baptist.
Shirley is survived by her son, Marshall Fox and wife Joely; daughter, Kristy Fox; grandchildren, Brandon Fox, Russell Henderson and Holly Fox; sister, Fleta Lopshire; many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her twins, Craig and Suzanne Fox; parents, Homer and Urena Jones; brothers, Billy Dean Jones and Clyde Jones; sisters, Joanne Gentry and Helen Churchwell.
The family would like to express their gratitude towards Hospice of Midland.
