Shirley May “Allor” Craver, 84, of Big Spring, Texas, went to be with the Lord Monday, March 26, 2018.She was born June 2, 1933 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan to Helen and Walter (Sr.) Allor. She married SMSGT James Ignatius Craver August 5, 1950.She moved to Big Spring, Texas in December of 1970 when she and her husband, James, were stationed at Webb Air Force Base. Shirley remained a life-long member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She resided in Mt. Clemens, MI; Colorado Springs, CO; Lubbock, TX; Aviano, Italy; and Big Spring, TX. She was a resilient military wife for 30 years.Shirley was a devout Christian woman who joyously shared her belief in Christ with her family and friends. She was a very strong woman who journeyed through life with dignity and grace, and trusted the Lord to get her through all of life’s joys and sorrows. She loved her family dearly and was grateful for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who made her heart full of happiness and pride. She was an adoring wife, mother, Granny, and G’Ma who thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.She is survived by her children, Sharon Craver of Big Spring, TX; Jim Craver and wife, Diana of Seguin, TX; Collene Craver and partner, Debbie Lain of Big Spring, TX; and Dero Shaw of Knott, TX; grandson, Sloan Shaw of Canyon, TX; granddaughter, Stephanie Cross; grandson, Ben Cross and great-granddaughter, Ryland Cross of New Braunfels, TX; grandson, James Craver; granddaughter, Ying-Xu Craver and great-grandson, Jing-Yong Craver of Boston, MA; granddaughter, Amanda Kroeker; grandson, Anthony Kroeker and great-grandson, Aedyn Kroeker of McAllen, TX; nephew Chuck Mault and niece, Nancy Mault of Florida and their children, and nephew, David Mault and wife, Brenda of Big Spring, TX and their children. Sister-in-law, Patricia Allor and her children, and sister-in-law, Isabelle Allor and her children. Nephews, Rob Allor and Peter Allor and nieces Annette Slattery and Cheryl Allor and their children.She is preceded in death by her husband, SMSGT James Ignatius Craver; a daughter, Jeanine (Craver) Shaw; her mother, Helen Allor; two brothers, Walter Allor, Jr. and Robert (Bob) Allor; and two sisters, Louise Mault and Virginia Kerbleski. Also four nephews, Ralph Mault, Walter Mault, Bill Mault and Rick Mault and a niece Teresa Allor.Visitation is from 6:00 pm to 8:00 PM Thursday, March 29, 2018 a Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, March 30, 2018 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Big Spring, TX with Rev. Don Rosentreter, officiating.
