Shirley Callison, 73, of Big Spring, died on Wednesday, December 2, 2009, in a local nursing home. No services are planned.She was born on December 27, 1935, in Holstein, Nebraska and married Howard Callison on April 3, 1955 in Lincoln County, Nebraska.She came to Big Spring in 1971 and worked as a secretary.Survivors include her husband, Howard Callison of Big Spring; three sons, Blain Callison of Big Spring, Dirk Callison of McKinney, and Randy Callison of Decatur, Illinois; two brothers, Larry Preston and Wayne Ray Preston; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Lanny Lynn Preston. Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
