Sherry Lynn (Thompson) Eaton Sherry Eaton, resident of Midland, Texas, passed away November 3, 2023. She was 61 years old.
Sherry was born February 22, 1962 in Poteet, Texas. After graduating from White House High School, she attended Lubbock Christian College in Lubbock, Texas where she met and married Rick Eaton. They shared a 42 year marriage.
She was a devoted wife, mom, gran, and friend. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with family and unapologetically spoiling her grandson. He was her best friend, and she was his. She loved baseball and football and cheering on the Cowboys and her Texas Rangers.
She is survived by her husband, Rick Eaton; son AJ (Erin) Eaton; Amanda Roach (Dee Styles); and grandson Jax Roach.
Viewing will be from 8:00am-9:00pm, Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:00am, Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens.

I whisper in her ear how much to me she means
I had to ground myself with goosebumps and shrugs..
In my mind she gave me the tightest of hugs.
She is 6 and a half older by years
My fondest memory brings hot tears
Steve Miller band plays abra abra cadabra
I want to reach out and grab ya!!
She got a hold of me and tickles
me till I cry
I remember that like yesterday, no lie
Her life now has come full circle.
No going back, no reversal
Her winter came to quickly for me.
I'll have to give that to the powers that be
So during the rest of my forever
I'll forget my sister's touch, Never!
