Sherri Dykes

Sherri Dykes, 48, of Big Spring, died on Monday, May 28, 2007, in an Odessa hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 1, 2007 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.She was born on April 28, 1959, in Tucson, Arizona and married Bob Dykes, Sr. on December 27, 1974 in Dallas, Texas.Sherri enjoyed needlepoint and crocheting. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She had been a resident of Big Spring for 30 years.Survivors include her husband, Bob Dykes, Sr. of Big Spring; one son, Bobby Dykes, Jr. of Big Spring; a daughter and son-in-law, Tanya and Jeremy Jewitt of Wichita, Kansas; four grandchildchildren, Ashton Dykes and Alexis Dykes of Big Spring, and Ariona Hall and Aiden Jewitt of Wichita, Kansas; her father, Robert Thompson of Springtown; one brother, Keith Thompson of Vealmoor; one sister, Pam Gregory of Arkansas; and numerous other relatives.
