Jerry, I love Sharon and you so very much. I’m so sorry her body gave out and you’re having to go through this too soon. She was still so young at heart and she always had so much love for everyone. Sharon always told me how much she loved you and so glad y’all had each other and she knew how much you loved her. I heard it All the time. She wanted me to have someone in my life like she had you ... Someone to love, be there for each other and take care of each other. I’m so glad she had You. She always talked and worried about her family and extended family especially her boys, grandkids, siblings and daughters in laws, as well as her many, many friends. Meeting her in 1992 at MPD was our start to building a strong and lifelong friendship. Being a constant part of her life for so long has been awesome and she is one I will never forget or can be replaced. I was honored and proud to be 1 of her 5 and she was and will always be one of mine. She will be forever missed and remembered.

Condolences to Sharon’s family. I had the pleasure of working with Sharon for three years. She was sweet enough to bring a daily smile, and hard-headed enough to work with difficult people like me. Sharon was a blessing to the Midland Police Department, and she was an unwavering Christian as she dealt with the daily challenges of life among police officers. Sharon made everyone feel special and she took the time to listen and show empathy to everyone who crossed her path. Sharon will be missed by all.

At every family gathering all the children could not wait for Sharon to arrive. She would sit down on the floor with them and play for hours. She loved children and had the ability to make every child feel special. She was the first person to help anyone who suffered a loss. When I think of her, I remember her melodic voice and calm demeanor. She loved her family dearly. She found her soul mate with her husband Jerry, and she always treasured their time together. Heaven gained an angel, and she is missed by us all.
