Sean Macaw, 26, of Midland passed away Monday, August 17, 2009. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, August 20, 2009 at Kelview Heights Baptist Church in Midland. Interment will follow at Resthaven MemorialContinue Reading

Dear, Lissa I know ive only met you once or twice when I was with Shawn but I just wanted to let you know that I have you and Ryland in my prayer and that god is watching over the both of you. We rejoice in the celebration of Sean's life. I loved him like he was my own son. Though it is difficult to understand why we have to walk through this type of grief...we know that Sean is at peace and that he is rejoicing in the heavens. He feels no pain and he is in the loving arms of our Lord, Jesus Christ. I often have heard about the "dash" , from the beginning to the end of our lives...what will they say about us when we are gone... Well, Sean Macaw was a man with a pure heart and had so much compassion for others. He will be deeply missed...but I am honored to have been touched by his life and the memories that he leaves with us. A precious son, Ryland...how wonderful to know that he had the experience of being a daddy...though Ryland is young...the stories that families and friends will tell him about his daddy will last a lifetime...I thank God for the life that he brought into this world..if only for a short time...but find comfort in knowing that he will live forever...and all this is so temporary. You will see him again, that is God's promise. And Sean is in good company...with his grandpa. My love goes out to all the family...
