Sean and I hadn't spoken much since high school, but I will always remember the great depth he possessed. There are words he once spoke to me that I account as some of the wisest I have heard in all my life. I wish for the wisdom he possessed to find his family in their time of despair. May peace and love fill your hearts now.

Mecca and Frank Johnson left a message on August 19, 2009:
We did not know Sean as the handsome young man. We knew and loved his sweet mother and daddy, Russ and Carla, and their sweet babies, Sean and Erin. We watched them grow and enjoyed them both as young children. We also knew Carl and Sue. I had the privilege of working with them at Kelview in the child care center and always loved them for their dedication to the Lord - and especially loved Carl's blue eyes. I am so sad for the family and for his immediate family. We do remember that sweet face as a boy, and we would have recognized him anywhere as a man. He had a gentle spirit. We love you all and are praying for the Lord Jesus to comfort your hearts as only the "Man of Sorrows" can do. Mecca and Frank

Dear Sean, I know you are an amazing young man because you have an amazing mother whom I love like a sister. She has shared so many fun stories about you and therefore I feel like I know you very well. How wonderful that you got to share Ryland's first year.....the most important one! Carla and Randy, I know God has surrounded you two with hisl loving arms, his comfort and peace...........it is so hard to understand why such a young handsome, kind son left you so early in his life but just know God needed him more. You will be able to keep Sean alive in Ryland's life through stories and photos. I love you Carla like a sister and I send you my prayers and love. Love you, Becky Shannonhouse
Diana Gaines left a message on August 19, 2009:
We rejoice in the celebration of Sean's life. I loved him like he was my own son. Though it is difficult to understand why we have to walk through this type of grief...we know that Sean is at peace and that he is rejoicing in the heavens. He feels no pain and he is in the loving arms of our Lord, Jesus Christ. I often have heard about the "dash" , from the beginning to the end of our lives...what will they say about us when we are gone... Well, Sean Macaw was a man with a pure heart and had so much compassion for others. He will be deeply missed...but I am honored to have been touched by his life and the memories that he leaves with us. A precious son, Ryland...how wonderful to know that he had the experience of being a daddy...though Ryland is young...the stories that families and friends will tell him about his daddy will last a lifetime...I thank God for the life that he brought into this world..if only for a short time...but find comfort in knowing that he will live forever...and all this is so temporary. You will see him again, that is God's promise. And Sean is in good company...with his grandpa. My love goes out to all the family...
