Dennis Maiorino left a message on July 26, 2024:
I played golf with Scott for numerous years at Hogan Park Golf Course. His infectious laugh and constant optimism made him a pleasure to play a round of golf with. We usually had the first tee time (around 6:30 am) on Sunday mornings where our foursome typically opened up the clubhouse. Scott was the eternal optimist. Whenever anyone hit a bad shot, Scott would always point out something positive! He would always make me chuckle to myself as I chased my ball into the damn yucca. As we were both geologists, the conversation would always turn to the latest plays in the basin. Whether it was golf or geology, Scott was easy to talk to. I will always remember the times we chased that little white ball around around the courses in Midland, Odessa, Andrews or Seminole. My condolences to the Tanberg family as Scott will be truly missed.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Keith, Arleen and myself were cousins and would go often to Walter and Lucille's home for dinner and Scott would entertain us. Carl Lee and Rita were always with us too. Then they would come to our house and Carl Lee and Rita's home. We were together lots and always had the best time. We remember you too, Shelly. So sad to loose him as he was so young.
